An Incredible Story Part IV — The Book Of Moses

Rich Kelsey

Imagine waking up in New York in the mid 1800s to find a world brimming with folklore, interspersed with folk-magic, and steeped in strong religious views; that would be a dream come true for some historians.  Meeting friends and neighbors with limited educations, who believe in the superstitions of the day, would certainly add color to the dream.

The 1800s was one of the most intriguing periods in American religious history.  One experiencing this era with today’s knowledge would have the opportunity to evaluate that history better than many who actually lived it.

That is what we can do as we allow ourselves to slip back in time and merge into the minds and lives of those living in the 19th century.

To the reader:

I have decided to expand this work which was originally only six pages long. Please check back in about eight or nine months.  I cannot rush this.  I desire to make it my best work.  My estimated time for having it back up on site is between 5-1-11 and 6-1-11.  It should be about 25 pages long, and/or 6,000 words when completed.
